Zaha Hadid consistently pushes the boundaries of architecture and urban design. She was honored with the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004 and the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011. Her buildings are characterized by powerful, curving forms of her elongated structures with multiple perspective points. Her central concerns involve a simultaneous engagement in practice, teaching and research.
